“On World Environment Day and Gandhi Jayanthi, hundreds of students gathered to plant native shade-giving saplings. Each class adopted a row of saplings, transforming open campus perimeters into thriving green micro-habitats.”
Under the Mission Life #Plant4Mother campaign, Green Trust coordinates mass tree plantation drives across educational institutions and public lands in Madurai. Each sapling is tagged and maintained by student caretakers for high survival rates.
